Consequently, her simple and straightforward explanations of have helped change how trauma work is practiced today. The understanding of the nervous system that she speaks of on the pod is an instrumental part of understanding ME/CFS and other system sensitivity disorders.

In this chat, Lindsay and Deb discuss neuroception, the different branches of the nervous system and what states they correlate to. How ME/CFS relates to the different states, the importance of co-regulation, and some practical tools regulating the nervous system.
