29: A testimonial of how our pain can become purpose w/ Stacey Dicks

Our guest today is Stacey Dicks. Stacey in on her own journey of becoming, transforming and healing. She has a really inspiring story to share today with us. One of Stacey’s most recent accomplishments on her journey happened for her last month when she did a 40 hour road trip pain free (which is a huge celebration after spending years incapable of sitting free of severe pain). Stacey & I talk a lot today about pressure, fears & limiting beliefs around exercise and nutrition, and the pressure of living up to unrealistic expectations. She also shares some of her favorite books and programs that she followed to help her along the way. For anyone out there who holds a strong faith and loves to learn about faith based neuroscience, Stacey had two of her favorite book recommendations. One is called Fully Alive by Suzie Larson & the other is a guide book called Switch on Your Brain 21 Day Brain Detox by Carolyne Leaf, a faith based neuroscientist.
